Karma · built-in AI

Ask in plain language. Karma prepares the work.

Karma sits on your live HR data — not a bolted-on chatbot. It reads across every module, drafts the change, and waits for a human to say yes.

1

Ask

Any question about your people, in your own words. No report builder, no filters.

“Which teams are over their absence budget this quarter?”
2

Karma prepares

It pulls the data, drafts the change, and shows you exactly what will happen — field by field.

Draft ready · 3 employees · 1 field changed each
3

You approve

Nothing is written until you approve it. Every change is logged in the audit trail with your name on it.

Approved by Gert A. · logged 09:14

Karma also parses CVs into scored skills, drafts job ads, and suggests shift coverage — the same approve-first rule applies everywhere.

Flows

The parts that are the same every time should run themselves.

Onboarding, offboarding, a contract change, a team move — the same chain of steps, every time, done by hand. Build it once in the process builder: a trigger, the steps, and a name and a deadline on each one that waits for a person.

  • Triggered by what already happened — hired, resigned, team changed
  • Automatic steps and steps that wait for a named person, in one chain
  • Branch on employment type, department or pay group
  • Overdue steps escalate rather than dying quietly in someone's inbox
  • Every step logged — the automatic ones as the flow, the rest as the person

It is the same employee record underneath, so a flow writes to Organisation, Payroll and Learning without an integration in between.

Komma on mobile

Most of your people will never open the desktop.

Shift workers, drivers and site staff live on a phone. They get a home screen they arrange themselves, clocking in with one tap, and their goals with whatever bonus is attached to them.

  • Thirteen widgets, each person picks their own and orders them
  • Goals, deadlines and the bonus attached — updated as the work moves
  • Sign a contract with a finger; the signed copy files itself on the record
  • Managers approve holiday, timesheets and goals from the same queue
  • Face ID or fingerprint, two-factor at login, iOS and Android

Questions

Frequently asked.

Does Komma run payroll?

Komma owns everything gross — pay components, collective-agreement rules, time-to-supplement valorization and pre-payroll validation. The final gross-to-net calculation, A-skat, AM-bidrag, eIndkomst and payslips stay with your payroll engine (Zenegy, Danløn, Dataløn, Visma, Lessor or ECIT Indtægt), which remains the authoritative source. Komma hands over approved, locked gross pay lines and shows the engine's return data back in reconciliation.

How is Karma different from a chatbot bolted onto HR software?

Karma reads your live data across every module, so it can answer questions that span absence, payroll and org structure at once. It also acts: it drafts the change and shows you the exact fields it will write. Nothing is saved until a person approves it, and every approval is recorded in the audit log.

Can we migrate from Personio, HiBOB, BambooHR or Emply?

Yes. Employee records, org structure, absence balances and documents can be imported, and the setup flow walks through company, legal entities, departments and workplaces step by step. Historic payroll stays with your existing engine.

Is Komma ready for the EU Pay Transparency Directive?

Job families, tracks and pay bands are part of the job-profile model, and pay-gap reporting reads directly from them. Because compensation and job structure sit in the same system, the reporting does not need a separate data-collection exercise.

Where is our data stored?

In the EU. Komma supports role-based access, SSO through Microsoft Entra, configurable data-retention rules per record type, and a full audit log of who changed what and when.

What does Komma cost?

Pricing is per employee per month and depends on which modules you switch on. Book a demo and you will get a written quote for your headcount and module mix — no obligation.

See it on your own data.

A 30-minute walkthrough with someone who knows Nordic payroll. We will show Komma with your org structure — not a generic demo tenant.
